Stitch Fix #11 - Spring Fever in a Fix

Hello Spring Fever in my Stitch Fix box! Maybe it was the white jeans or the most perfect floral print but this box had me aching for Spring. Every few days we get a bit of warm weather and I am ready to pack up the sweaters and jackets to start rocking my Spring styles. Every Fix my stylist Lauren does an amazing job at filling my wish list and paying attention to my Pinterest board. At this point I don't know what I would do without her in my life. She is currently traveling in Australia and I am hoping her global travels keep inspiring these amazing Fixes.

Before we get started on February's Fix I am sharing my 3 easy steps to get your first Stitch Fix - if you have any questions feel free to ask!

1. Stylist Notes- This is the most important part of Stitch Fix because this is how you communicate with your stylist. I always tell my stylist about any upcoming events I have or specific items I am wanting to try. Pinterest is another great way to show your stylist what items you may be interested in.

2. Order Your First Fix- You can order your Stitch Fix every week, every month, or every year! Just fill out when and how often you would like your Fix delivered. For each Fix there is a $20 Styling Fee but you can use that $20 as a credit towards any purchase. So I recommend keeping at least one item or you are essentially throwing away $20, and nobody wants to do that!

3. Decisions, Decisions... - Now you have your Stitch Fix and you are dying to see what is inside. What 5 exciting pieces are in that box? My tip is try it all on because you may fall in love after! Trust me I have done this plenty of times. You have 3 days to choose what to keep and send back. The items you want to return are placed in the included pre-labeled UPS bag and put in your mailbox. All that's left is to login to your account to tell your stylist what you kept or returned and why.

Let's get started on February's Stitch Fix ! Feel free to Pin any of these images for your stylist.

41Hawthorn Shalley Split Neck Blouse (Kept): Oh my floral! I am in love with the print, the colors, and the style of this blouse. I mean what is not to love about this blouse? I blame this print on the reason why I suddenly have Spring Fever. I paired it with the blazer I got in Fix #9 to make it weather friendly and could not be more excited about rocking this blouse come Spring time.

Loveappella Ronna Dress (Returned): The back of this dress had me falling in love! The only downfall is that the pretty little peek-a-boo area was sheer causing a whole lot of peek-a-boo. Even tights would not be able to combat this sheer lining. I live in Alabama meaning tights and leggings are really only necessary for about two months, so since I did not see myself wearing this a whole lot it went back.

Level 99 Giovanni Straight Leg Jean (Returned): I have to admit this may be the first time that jeans have been too long on me. Another confession is that I have been on the hunt for perfect white jeans for way too long! I loved how soft these were because they were made with Tencel and the pockets were a nude lining so they didn't stand out (yes, I'm that picky). Unfortunately, I am looking for a skinny fit and even with alternations these would not be the fit I am looking for.

Seychelles Snare Ankle Bootie (Returned) : I am a lover of all shoes! Seriously it is hard for me to turn down a good pair of shoes and when I got these I was so tempted to keep them. They were a buttery leather and I just adore the camel color. Unfortunately, with my size 9 foot I need something with a little more of a heel to combat what my husband calls my skies (a.k.a. my large feet). Ladies, if you are looking for a good bootie without a heel I highly recommend these.

Collective Concepts Levett Crossover Blouse (Kept) : Saving my favorite for last! The moment I saw this on Pinterest I knew to add it quickly and let my stylist know. Y'all know I love some black and a little tank, so this is right up my alley. I adore the matte and silky fabric contrast where it crossovers to add a little edge. The fact that it is a racer-back top was just the icing on the cake. Be prepared to see me wearing this number quite a bit!

That sums up February's Fix! I am not giving up on the white jean hunt because I know my stylist will knock it out of the park with these. In the mean time I will be rocking my floral blouse despite the chilly weather and my racer-back blouse. This Spring brings lots of weddings and fun activities, so I am excited to request Fixes centered around these events. I am already counting down the days until March's Stitch Fix!

In case you missed my most stylish Fix yet,  Stitch Fix #10.

  1. You always get such great fixes! Love the floral shirt and that dress would have been adorable without the sheer panel. I am on the never ending hunt for white pants too. I feel your pain.

  3. Hello Megan!! I found you at Stitch Fix's Review Tab. Love all your fixes and like you, also on the hunt for the perfect white jeans. I'm 5'4 and always have my pants folded to get to the right length each time. Mostly, I had it altered. White is pretty tricky too. Needs to be the right fabric so your undies won't show thru. I also got the Loveapella dress on my first. Returned due to wrong size and felt it wasn't figure flattering. But now that I saw that same dress on you, it's beautiful. I should have requested a size down on that. But then again, you said the peekaboo lining is sheer, so glad I returned it coz I didn't even notice it. Next time I'll shoot outside. BTW, love your photography. Do you ask a friend to photograph for you? Or do you shoot with a remote on hand? -Marie

    1. Hello! Thank you, Stitch Fix really is the best! I look forward to my fixes every month. The struggle for white jeans is real though, but I just ordered a pair from Nordstrom that I hope deliver. If so, I will definite be writing a post and celebrating with a glass of wine. My husband actually takes my pictures which I am so grateful. Shooting outside is really the best place!
