Stitch Fix #9- The Most Festive of All

My stylist sent me a whole lot of festive in my Stitch Fix! Between the sequins and the cutest pants you ever did see, this Fix had some definite keepers. My stylist was able to use my Pinterest board to create an amazing Fix. She also put together my New Years look which I always dread doing, because I never know what to wear. This is why I love Stitch Fix, because they always find the most perfect outfits for those big events.

In my notes I had asked for certain pieces found via Pinterest, and I hit the jackpot in getting all the pieces I asked for. I just needed some black pants for wear and a new blazer, but lucked out in the super cute department. I just love how my my stylist, Lauren, pays extra attention to my style, and Pinterest board, to give me the best Fixes! Also, if you have not checked out the Stitch Fix App yet, what are you waiting for? Talk about making life easy and loving Stitch Fix that much more.

Before we get started on December's Fix I am sharing my 3 easy steps to get your first Stitch Fix - if you have any questions feel free to ask!

1. Stylist Notes- This is the most important part of Stitch Fix because this is how you communicate with your stylist. I always tell my stylist about any upcoming events I have or specific items I am wanting to try. Pinterest is another great way to show your stylist what items you may be interested in.

2. Order Your First Fix- You can order your Stitch Fix every week, every month, or every year! Just fill out when and how often you would like your Fix delivered. For each Fix there is a $20 Styling Fee but you can use that $20 as a credit towards any purchase. So I recommend keeping at least one item or you are essentially throwing away $20, and nobody wants to do that!

3. Decisions, Decisions... - Now you have your Stitch Fix and you are dying to see what is inside. What 5 exciting pieces are in that box? My tip is try it all on because you may fall in love after! Trust me I have done this plenty of times. You have 3 days to choose what to keep and send back. The items you want to return are placed in the included pre-labeled UPS bag and put in your mailbox. All that's left is to login to your account to tell your stylist what you kept or returned and why.

Let's get started on December's Stitch Fix ! Feel free to Pin any of these images for your stylist.

RD Style Georgiana Straight Leg Pant (Kept) : I saw these on pants on Pinterest and it was love at first sight! When I saw them in my Fix I screamed a bit of joy. My living room instantly become a cat walk and I knew these were a keeper. These pants are perfection, because they are fun enough for a night out or I can wear them for work. I see these going out for a little New Year's Eve fun!

Skies Are Blue Simmaron Sequin Blouse (Return): If you love sequins then you will love this top! The cut is oh so perfect and has this amazing cape-like back. When the wind blows it is like magic! It pairs perfectly with the pants in this Fix, but I just don't see myself wearing this top unfortunately. As much as I love a fun top I only break out sequins once a year.

Street Level Highland Genuine Leather Tote (Returned) : To be fair I asked for a black tote and I received a black tote. I jazzed it up a bit with a scarf but it too tote-like for me. I should have been more descriptive in asking for something that was more structured. Since I needed something a little more structured the tote went back.

Skies Are Blue Mosahari Embellished Shoulder Blouse (Returned) : Oh the festive sequins! This top is one of my favorite colors and I LOVE the back. Unfortunately due to my flat chest it was pretty big on me. For those of you wanting a small dose of sequins you will love this top! Because of the size I had to send it back.

Moon Collection Tirana Drape Front Blazer (Kept): Another Pinterest finder and keeper! I was looking for a more casual blazer to wear on the weekends and for work. This olive color is so versatile and the draping is perfection. Can the weather cool down so I can rock this blazer like right now?

I am quickly learning that my Pinterest board is the best way to communicate with my stylist. She also pays attention to my blog to learn what works for me! If you don't have a blog the Stitch Fix App is great, because you can upload a picture of yourself to show your body shape.

If you haven't tried Stitch Fix yet what are you waiting on? Go ahead and give yourself a little Christmas gift!

    1. Ah thanks! I second guessed it a few times, but knew it may seem New Years and then hide in the closet. The blazer has been worn a few times though!
