Stitch Fix #8- A Favorite So Far!

I know it was only one month ago I received my last Stitch Fix, but it seems like forever ago! Maybe this is because my winter wardrobe is so blah, and I know my stylist Lauren always comes through. Well let tell me you what, she sent a box that was perfection! Plus she sent a plaid shirt that was seriously a dream come true. I have been on the hunt for a plaid shirt for way too long, and the wait was worth it.

In my notes I had asked for some comfortable and warm pieces for our upcoming trip to DC. I also asked for some pants to wear for work, because my trousers just ain't cutting it. I always make sure to pin inspiration on my Pinterest board and include notes to my stylist. This has been the best way for me to communicate with my stylist, Lauren. She also has access to my blog to see how different things fit on my body. For those of you without blogs you can now upload a picture of yourself to the new Stitch Fix App, this helps your stylist understand your body type and shape. Woo hoo, because we all are created differently!

Before we get started on November's Fix I am sharing my 3 easy steps to get your first Stitch Fix - if you have any questions feel free to ask!

1. Stylist Notes- This is the most important part of Stitch Fix because this is how you communicate with your stylist. I always tell my stylist about any upcoming events I have or specific items I am wanting to try. Pinterest is another great way to show your stylist what items you may be interested in.

2. Order Your First Fix- You can order your Stitch Fix every week, every month, or every year! Just fill out when and how often you would like your Fix delivered. For each Fix there is a $20 Styling Fee but you can use that $20 as a credit towards any purchase. So I recommend keeping at least one item or you are essentially throwing away $20, and nobody wants to do that!

3. Decisions, Decisions... - Now you have your Stitch Fix and you are dying to see what is inside. What 5 exciting pieces are in that box? My tip is try it all on because you may fall in love after! Trust me I have done this plenty of times. You have 3 days to choose what to keep and send back. The items you want to return are placed in the included pre-labeled UPS bag and put in your mailbox. All that's left is to login to your account to tell your stylist what you kept or returned and why.

Let's get started on November's Stitch Fix ! Feel free to Pin any of these images for your stylist.

Fate Goodwin Cowl Neck Sweater (Kept) : Do you ever go into your closet and think "I just want something cute, comfortable, and warm?" Well my prayers have been answered! This sweater is absolute perfection and where do I even start on my obsession? It's so soft and warm, but the details are my favorite. The side stitching on the sleeves and slits on the side are the best part. Oh, and my second favorite is that I can wear this with leggings! You will see this sweater on repeat for sure.

Liverpool Rizzo Skinny Pant (Returned) : Okay, so I love these black pants and that they are like jeggings. The problem is I don't see myself wearing them as much as I should for the price. I was looking for a fun pair of black pants that could be worn for work and play. These definitely could not be worn for work which stinks. I am looking for a pair similar to these , so I think I will hold out for something a little more tailored. Black Pants I do miss you already!

Skies are Blue Oversized Lapel Coat (Returned) : I am loving leather details right now and have pinned a few pieces that I like. This coat had the right details from the color to the leather detail on the sleeves, but it was way too boxy on me. I love a touch of masculine detail, but I felt like this was not the right fit for me.

Market & Spruce Colibri Plaid Printed Shirt (Kept) : So I  currently do not own a plaid shirt and have been on a mad hunt. My stylist sent me one in my previous fix , and I had almost given up on plaids all together. Then she sent me this beautiful blue plaid and as soon as I tried it on it was magic. It has tab-sleeves that can be rolled up but I love the way the sleeves fit without, and the length is perfect on this shirt. Lauren you are a rock star!

Level 99 Kris Skinny Jean (Returned) : These jeans are extremely flattering and the dark wash is perfect for dressing up. Even though they look almost black in the pictures they are a really dark navy blue.  I just wasn't in love with these even though they looked great tucked into boots, sorry not pictured. Not to be picky but I  want them to have a more blue denim feel.

This will be the first Fix that I get to complete on the new Stitch Fix App. If you haven't downloaded this App what are you waiting on? I've played around on it and talk about easy, which I love easy. While I didn't keep everything in this Fix I definitely did receive two of my favorite pieces. The sweater has already been rocked a time or two, and the plaid top is perfect for an upcoming trip.

Give the gift of Stitch Fix this year for Christmas- whether it be for you or someone else!
