My Thankful List

There is this holiday in November called Thanksgiving in case you didn't know! It's a time to remember all the things we have been thankful for over the last year. Well, it actually started with the Pilgrims and Indians being thankful for their harvest, aka food, which is right up my alley. Either way it's a time to be thankful for the blessings we have in our life.

This year, I really do feel thankful for what I have in my life. Maybe it's just being older and more grounded, or just wiser. Plus, I think the holidays bring out an emotional side of me that is hard to contain. For example, I cried my eyes out when watching a movie the other night or maybe that was because it was a certain time of the month? Besides the point. This year I am so thankful for the big and little things in life and wanted to share.

So here it goes...

1. Starbucks, especially when the cup matches my favorite red lipstick.

2. Bo Dog who is my workout buddy, bad day fixer, cuddle partner, and foot warmer.

3. My Aunt and all her inappropriate jokes that crack me up.

4. Cheetah print scarves that go with every outfit. Roar!

5. Wine. Cheap wine, good wine, red wine, white wine.

5. My husband who puts up with sweet Megan, hangry Megan, moody Megan... you get the point.

6: My sister for always being herself.

7. Post It Notes and how I believe they keep my life sane and organized.

8. All the leftover Halloween candy, even if it's only orange Starburst at this point.

9. Sweatpants and sweatshirts, and all their elasticity.

10. A trip to DC with the hubs for romantic tours of museums together.

11. My Mom, who always listens to my problems big or small.

12. Crunchy leaves that are fun to step on.

13. My brother for always having my back.

14. Tailgates and football. Not to worry, beer and french onion dip are included in this.

15. Sunday naps.

16. My dad and his never ending wisdom.

17. Best Friends that become family.

18. Red Lipstick and its confidence boosting super powers.

19. My nieces who are the cutest things in the world- not bias at all!

So what is on your Thankful List this year?  I can't believe Thanksgiving is already a week away! It's never too late to start your list and share in the comments below.
