More Boos Please: Sharing My Pumpkin Margarita Recipe

Halloween Cocktail

I know what you are thinking right now! I only know because I was thinking the same thing the first time I tried this amazing drink full of deliciousness. Being the margarita connoisseur that I am, I had to try it though. This little concoction came from a restaurant in Mobile, Alabama called Fuego. Unfortunately I have no access to Fuego this year so I had to get creative. I was tempted to have someone over night me a pumpkin margarita but that seemed unreasonable to ask of my friends. So I decided to whip out the blender and try my own recipe.

I will be the first to tell you that a Google search does not yield easy great results. As much as I praise Martha Stewart, she will always go the extra mile that I wish I could! I mean pumpkin puree that includes ingredients I have never heard of just ain't going to happen. So here it is, my simple and delicious, pumpkin margarita recipe:

Pumpkin Margarita Recipe

Pumpkin Margarita

Recipe: Yields 3-4 Frozen Margaritas

1 can pumpkin puree
2 TBSP pumpkin spice
3 ounces Silver Tequila
1 ounce Orange Liqueur
16 ounces Pumpkin Beer
1/2 Lime, Juiced

In a blender combine pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice, lime juice, and a cup full of ice. Blend together until ice is smooth. Then pour in your Silver Tequila and Orange Liqueur. I use the lowest setting to blend everything together. Wet the rim of your glasses with water then sprinkle on or dip glass in pumpkin pie spice. Pour margaritas into glasses leaving about 2-3 ounces left for the Pumpkin Beer. Pour 1/4 of the pumpkin beer over the margarita because it gives a fun bubbling effect. Your guests can then use their straws or stirrers to mix everything together!

  1. These sound interesting. I might have to give it a try!

    1. I promise it's worth it! Plus it's a fun treat this time of year.
