Stitch Fix

My First Stitch Fix

So I have been contemplating signing up for Stich Fix for awhile now, but I finally made the dive in. I had to schedule my delivery 3 weeks from sign up and it felt like forever! My Stitch Fix came in on a Friday and it was the perfect end of the week treat. I ripped it open before making it 10 steps because I was so excited to see what was inside. Spring is in the air and it was definitely in my box! My stylist did such a great job at putting in pieces that were Spring friendly. She also did a great job of following my Pinterest board. I can't wait for you to see what I got:

1. Collective Concepts Floral Print Tank (Return): This tank had some really cute details and the back was awesome! The crocheted racer back detail was definitely my favorite. Unfortunately, it was a little big and  the whole tank was sheer so it would be hard to find something to wear underneath.

2. Papermoon Ikat Maxi Skirt (Return)- Why can you not be 1 inch longer?! I LOVED this skirt but it was just a tad too short. It fit perfectly and was so fun to wear. I will definitely be telling my stylist to send similar items my way. I really enjoyed this piece too because I would have never picked it out for myself. I mean don't most people run away from clingy cottons? Not this girl anymore! This skirt has changed my outlook and I won't be running from clingy cottons anymore.

3. Street Level Ikat Clutch (Returned): This was really cute but it did not go with much I had in my closet. I tried to pair it with several outfits but just didn't love it. Plus I am breaking up with black... blog post to come soon on this. It'll be hard but I can do it!
4. Just Black Aaron Distressed Skinny Jean (Returned): I pinned several distressed pairs of jeans so my stylist would know to send a pair - which is the awesome part of Stitch Fix because they can read my mind! While these fit perfectly and were distressed, I was looking for something a little different. I am thinking something a little lighter, more boyfriend style and more distressed. Hint hint stylist!
5. Brixon Ivy Floral Lining Drape Cardigan (Keep): I own zero Spring cardigans and this one filled that gap. It's so soft and comfortable plus the floral lining is a fun little surprise. I love pieces I can wear for work and play so this was perfect. Plus I may have worn it day one after receiving it, so that's always a sign for a keeper. This cardigan will definitely be worn quite a bit.

My next Stitch Fix can't come soon enough! While I only kept one item I know that my Stitch Fixes will only get better. Over time your stylist gets to know you and they always find a piece or two to surprise you with!
