Stitch Fix- April

Stitch Fix- April

My Stitch Fix for April came in and it was love at first sight! This month I had requested dresses for work, a pair of boyfriend jeans and some casual tops for the weekend. My stylist did such a great job too! She pulled inspiration from my Pinterest board and my note that I had sent her via the Stitch Fix website.

So what did I get in April's Stitch Fix?

1. Navy Livy Shift Dress (Returned)-  It was a little windy during this photo shoot hence the wind blown look. This my supermodel attempt at keeping it cool ha. Anyways back to the dress... I loved this dress and that it had sleeves which I love for work. The shift is totally my style and the dark color is so me. So why did I return it? Because Stitch Fix is to get me out of usual fashion routine. While I loved this it was a typical purchase and I want to try new styles.

2. Grey Seaside Mix Material Top (Returned)- This shirt is like a mullet- business in the front and party in the back. I loved everything about this top except for the print in the back. The cut was really cute with the cuffed sleeves and sheer printed back. If the print was different on the back it would've been a keeper.

3. Kate Distressed Boyfriend Jean (Keep)- I am in love with these jeans! They are super soft and comfortable with the perfect fit. I think these jeans are going to be a staple for my weekends. They are the perfect light shade and distressed in all the right places. Plus anything you can wear with heels or Ked's is right up my alley!

4. Corinna Striped Dolman Top (Kept)- Vertical stripes are a second close to black in my closet. I love stripes and I loved this top. I would have never picked out a dolman style top for myself so I was surprised I liked it. It was a lightweight knit that was perfect for this time of year. Although I took it to my parent's house and it did not leave my parent's mom was quite the fan too.
5. Marie Abstract Chevron Elastic Waist Dress (Kept)- I tried this dress on and knew that I really liked it, but it's just not what I usually pick out. After I tried it on again for this picture I knew it was something I need to keep. Plus it got me a nice little compliment from my husband and it's totally girly. I love this dress too because it's perfect for work and play!
I can't wait for May's Stitch Fix because at this rate I may be keeping everything! If you haven't tried Stitch Fix what is holding you back? Because it's only $20 for a styling fee you can apply toward any purchase. Plus they send you an extremely helpful styling sheet that I personally love. My stylist knows it's important for me to have pieces for work and play, so she always shows me both ways to style each piece. Here is a picture of mine from this month's Stitch Fix.
