Glimmer String Lights

Glimmer String Lights

Glimmer String Lights ... Just the name brings out my 13 year old self again. Even the description gets me excited, "tiny, magical string lights." While they are fun I did need to keep myself from draping them over my headboard and every mirror in the house. So I decided to make a faux succulent garden and use my glimmer string lights. The reason for the faux is my inability to keep most plants alive this time of year.

I started with a terrarium candle holder, similar here . Next I found some fun filler. Since I wanted to bring the outdoors indoors I knew  moss and rocks were perfect. I only added two succulents to mine due to space but add more or less of anything, similar here .  I left a small hole in the fillers to place the battery pack to the lights. Then surrounded it with filler except for the power button and run the cord out the bowl. The bottom is all finished and your string lights are hanging out. I wanted to keep the top simple and easy. First I added the Cactus Cilantro LED Candle which smells divine. Then I took my string lights and started wrapping them around the candle again and again! Ta-da you're finished and now have a whimsical faux succulent garden.

P.S. Both the candle and lights are controlled by a LED Candle Remote if preferred.
P.S.S. Everything from Pier One is 20% off now to!!
